Job Description

Devoteam Portugal is looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to join our nearshore team for an exciting project in the financial sector. ,You'll play a key role in implementing Policy-as-Code solutions, leveraging strong skills in Python OOP, Terraform, and AWS scripting with Boto3.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement infrastructure automation using Terraform (modular architecture, promotion strategies).Write and maintain Python code with a focus on OOP, using frameworks and custom packages.Work with AWS (scripting via Boto3) to manage and secure cloud resources.Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.Collaborate with development and security teams to improve DevSecOps best practices.Ensure compliance and security standards across multi-cloud environments (AWS & Azure).

Qualifications4+ years of experience in Software Engineering or DevSecOps rolesStrong experience with Python, including OOP and package developmentSolid knowledge of AWS and scripting with Boto3Experience with GitLab CI/CDDeep understanding of cloud security principles and Policy-as-CodeAbility to write clean, scalable, and reusable code for infrastructure

Nice to Have

Experience with CI/CD pipelinesFamiliarity with Agile methodologiesExposure to Azure (the project includes Azure components)
