We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Negotiations Specialist to join our team in our Philadelphia, PA office. This is an in-office opportunity.
ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will have a strong accounting or business background, advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, and a good understanding of contract/legal concepts. Responsibilities will include:
• Putting together government agency submittals of staff hours and audit packages working in conjunction with project managers, marketing, sub consultants and/or prime consultants, and clients
• Collaborating with regional leadership and project managers through negotiation phase
• Supporting accounting with rate/classification information
• Coordinating staff addition approvals with clients
• Collaborate with marketing and project managers during the pursuit phase to understand project profitability
• Responsible for educating project managers regarding the needs and requirements of public sector clients
• Maintaining and optimizing tools used to accomplish tasks listed above
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related degree
• 2+ years of public sector procurement experience required
• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals
• High degree of professionalism and strong people skills
• Must be an excellent team player
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Advanced Excel Skills
• Contract/legal concepts knowledge
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Solutions oriented
• Ability to prioritize tasks/deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe PDF is preferred
