Job Requirements:
The Neonatologist will have the following requirements:
Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal MedicinePertinent clinical experience of 24 months within the last 36 monthsActive State LicenseActive DEA registrationCurrent life support certifications in BLS, PALS and NRPJob Duties
Obtain a complete medical history and perform complete examinations for all patients presenting careMakes timely referral to specialty services in accordance with established procedures for patients needing medical treatmentProvides full range of neonatal critical care services to newly born infants in level III NICU. This includes assessment, diagnosis and treatment in areas of general neonatology, dermatology, infectious diseases, metabolic diseases, neurological, endocrine, cardiac, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, hematologic, renal, developmental, and musculoskeletel disorders.
