Nephrologist
Job Description We are looking for a Nephrologist to join a growing private practice in Birmingham, AL. This is a growing practice looking for it's next partner. In this job the main responsibilities will be: Diagnose kidney conditions: Use blood and urine tests, imaging, and other tools to identify kidney issues Create treatment plans: Develop personalized plans for each patient, which may include medications, dialysis, transplants, or other procedures Manage kidney failure: Oversee dialysis treatments, including hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis Perform surgeries: Remove kidney stones or cancerous cells, or treat bladder infections, prostate enlargement, and bladder control issues Provide lifestyle advice: Help patients make changes to improve their renal function and overall health Stay up-to-date: Keep current on the latest medical advancements for kidney conditions Manage dialysis teams: Oversee patient care, staff scheduling, training, and education We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
