About Content Engineering

Content Engineering Teams build the products and services used by our internal and external creative partners producing and managing our global content. Our products enable the entire workflow of content production, from pitch to play, and provide innovative new ways to develop and manage the entertainment at scale.

This role is based in our Warsaw office.

Position Overview

We are seeking passionate and driven Software Engineering students in their 4th or 5th year to join our Content Engineering teams for Netflix internship experience. You will collaborate arm-in-arm with experienced Netflix engineers, as well as Product and UX Design partners, to contribute to tools and services that impact and revolutionize how Netflix content is managed.

Your Day-to-Day

Become an integral member of a versatile engineering team, participate in product reviews and team meetings, providing valuable technical insight.

Work cross-functionally to build and improve existing products that help manage Netflix content.

Apply knowledge gained in computer science courses to real-world challenges.

Learn new systems and tools as the Netflix platform and ecosystem evolve.

Work closely with the dedicated mentor who will provide guidance and feedback necessary to accomplish the assigned project.

Are a 4th or 5th year student in computer science or related fields.

Have basic experience in maintaining and developing software applications.

Are passionate about building media creative apps and/or media distribution workflows, and care about user experience and technical excellence.

Are eager to learn the tools and technologies we use to build our products. We currently use  HTML/TypeScript/React to create user experiences and Java/Kotlin/Python in the backend (depending on the project).
