The National Security Sector at Leidos is currently looking for a Logistics Specialist to support the Warfighter Readiness requirements providing Subject Matter Expertise (SME) to the Division Support Branch and CECOM leadership. Tasks are perform in the areas of Transportation, Logistics, property issue and accountability.
Primary Responsibilities:
Logistics Specialist Support:
Serves as a Logistics Specialist under minimal supervision for the Force Modernization Division (FMD) of CECOM concerning materiel management and logistics operations for property accountability, maintenance, supply (all classes). Coordinates logistical program requirements support with other functional areas (e.g., training, operations, procurement, and financial management). Coordinates actions between communications-electronics command (CECOM), US Army Materiel Command (AMC), and other government agencies as required. Track and report Purchase Requests in coordination with the COR and Budget Analyst. Track and report the status of shipments of approved Purchase Requests. Assist the Government Logistics Specialist with the management of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Contractor Managed Equipment (CME). Track and report text book and other training material purchase requests, certification voucher purchase requests, and equipment purchases. Track of high dollar value items (over $500) for proper accountability Ensure all property is received and documented to the PBO. Act as a liaison between the vendor and the government Logistics Specialist
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree and 2 or more years of logistics experience. Additional directly related experience can offset the degree requirements.Must have an active DoD Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain.Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with operating forklift and other warehouse equipmentSolid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skillsAbility to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment, under stress and within time constraintsExcellent project and time management skills; proven ability to function independently and make the best use of time, as well as collaborate with a teamMust have a current United States Passport or ability to obtain.Must be able to work under minimal supervisionOriginal Posting Date:2024-11-14While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.
Pay Range:Pay Range $49,400.00 - $89,300.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
