Job Description

The Network Access and Security Engineer is responsible for development and operating of Bosch’s worldwide Secure Web gateway and Cloud Application Firewall Infrastructure. The candidate we are looking for enjoys solving problems and creating world class solutions. Someone who takes pride in the robustness and quality of their work at every stage of the development process.

Tasks:

Responsible for implementing and operating solutions to meet our internal customers’ needsResponsible for operations and optimization of Bosch's worldwide Secure Web gateway(Proxy) and Cloud Application Firewall InfrastructureBe a part of a strategic agile team to develop a state-of-the-art future proof network for a large enterpriseTake part and support the development of solutions and configurations for secure next generation Internet access together with a team of network and security expertsEnsure reliable service delivery and prompt incident resolutionWork and collaborate in a global team

QualificationsExhibit strong knowledge of Network technologies (TCP/IP, ARP, NAT, Routing, DNS, SSL)Knowledge in Internet protocols (HTTP, FTP, SFTP, SSH, etc.) and Authentication protocols (Kerberos, Basic, LDAP, Oauth, etc.)Knowledge in networking technologies (e.g. BGP, OSPF, SDWAN, QoS)Experience in load balancer technologies, architecture and operationsExperience in troubleshooting with packet capture and related toolsKnowledge of Application vulnerabilities and security techniques (OWASP)Broad knowledge in security concepts and implementationsWorking knowledge in ITILv4Confident in handling both Linux and Windows systemsGood communication and problem-solving skillsDistinct customer and service orientation as well as consulting skillsTask driven and result oriented approach to workFluency in English both verbal and writtenKnowledge in software-driven networking and network automation is beneficial (Python, Ansible, CI/CD, GIT, Scripting, RESTful API etc.)Readiness to work in an "On-Call Duty" set-upAbility to work in flexible office hours
