Job Description:

As a Network Activations Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating turn up and activation of customer services across our complex network infrastructure. You will work closely with our service delivery team and NOC to schedule customer activations. Your expertise in network engineering and troubleshooting will be required for hands on support of junior engineers on your team.

 

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the circuit turn-up processes and procedures utilizing Cisco, Juniper, Ciena, and other network platformsEnsure successful activation and deployment of network servicesTroubleshoot and resolve common issues related to network service activationLead and manage a small team of network engineers and techniciansFunction as a working supervisor, providing hands-on support and guidance to the teamDevelop and maintain documentation for activation processes and proceduresMonitor and report on the progress of service activationsEnsure compliance with industry standards and best practices

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years' experience managing small teams in a network service activation roleProficiency in circuit turn-up processes and procedures using Cisco, Juniper, Ciena, and other network platformsStrong troubleshooting skills and experience in resolving common network issuesExcellent leadership and team management skillsAbility to function as a working supervisor, providing hands-on supportStrong communication and interpersonal skillsDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldRelevant certifications in networking and network platforms
