The Opportunity:

The Enterprise Communications Services 3 (ECS3) program supports our intel customer across its CONUS & OCONUS operating locations. Our focus includes the design, transition, operations, and continual service improvement to include tech modernization, tech refresh, activities associated with customer local area networks (LANs), unified communication (UC) and streaming services. 

Our mission on this program will be the design, transition, operations, and continual service improvement to include tech modernization, tech refresh, or Capital Equipment Replacement Program (CERP) activities associated with the clients’ LANs, CAN, Unified Communication and Streaming services. Responsibilities:

As a Systems Administrator, you’ll be responsible for managing and maintaining the customer’s server infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing Windows, RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux), and Oracle OS servers. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our systems, including both physical hardware servers and virtual machines (VMs).

In this role, the Systems Administrator will:     

Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software, including Windows, RHEL, and Oracle OS servers.

Monitor system performance and ensure system availability and reliability.

Implement and maintain security measures to protect data and systems.

Perform monthly security patching for all servers.

Ensure compliance with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG).

Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues across different operating systems.

Perform regular system backups and recovery procedures.

Manage both physical hardware servers and VMs.

Collaborate with other IT staff to support network infrastructure and other IT projects.

Keep up to date with the latest server technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

Required:

TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a poly

Requires an active 8570 IAT II or higher credential

Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of relevant experience

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$78,700 - $165,300
