Job OverviewNetwork administrators play a critical role in the design, development, configuration, implementation, monitoring, maintenance, and support of the university's enterprise data and voice networks. They collaborate with team members at all levels to provide incident support, fulfill customer requests, research new technologies, and install network equipment. Additionally, they contribute to the development of solutions for network expansion and growth. Team members also actively participate in projects and initiatives assigned to network operations, ensuring the university's network infrastructure meets its evolving needs.
Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Two (2) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Required Trainings/CertificationsValid driver's license with an acceptable record
Required ExperiencePossess working knowledge of commonly used networking concepts, practices, and procedures.
Additional Qualifications ConsideredEntry level (CCENT, Network+) or higher industry certification (can be substituted for experience)
