Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS BY LEVEL:
Monitors network hardware operations to ensure properly set configuration optionsPlans implementation of enhancements and upgrades to the networkPerforms cost/benefit studies of network configurations and recommends enhancementsDirects the acquisition, installation and testing of network hardwareAdvises network users of hardware requirements, configurations and limitationsIsolates, resolves or circumvents network problemsInstructs operations personnel on use of new equipmentInitiates and coordinates repair of vendor-owned equipmentMaintains contact with vendors during problem restoration and advises customer and management of restoration statusMay supervise lower level staff if requiredPerforms other related duties as assigned Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experienceITIL v4IAT-IIEducation/experience in one of the following: SQL, Windows Server 2016/2019, VMware, Linux
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED BY LEVEL:
III: 4 – 9 Years
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
