What will you be doing?

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network administration, specifically with Cisco technologies. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage and optimize our network infrastructure to ensure seamless and secure operations. This role will play a pivotal part in our customers network infrastructure refresh initiative, focusing on upgrading and optimizing all switches across the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of network devices, including routers, switches, and wireless controllers. Implement and manage VLANs and trunking to ensure efficient network segmentation and traffic management. Use Cisco DNA Center to automate network configuration, provisioning, and change management workflows. Leverage Cisco Catalyst Center for network telemetry and assurance to proactively monitor and optimize network performance. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues. Implement and manage network security policies using Cisco ISE to ensure secure access and compliance. Monitor network traffic and performance to identify and mitigate potential security threats. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as industry standards. Coordinate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution. Maintain detailed network documentation, including configurations, policies, and procedures. Provide 24/7 support for critical infrastructure issues.
