Network Administrator
Position Description:

As a Network Administrator, you will administer or manage and maintain the current and new network infrastructure and security solutions in respect of the support processes.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Maintain under operational conditions the current and new network infrastructure and security solutions with respect to the Support processes.
2. Build, deploy, and administer/manage the current and new network infrastructure (including WAN, LAN, WLAN, and network services/vendors equipment like NLB, Riverbed, Meraki, F5, Cisco ISE/NAC, Velocloud SD-WAN, SolarWinds) and security solutions (Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet, Skybox)
3. Senior level of operational support on:
- Troubleshooting, incidents and problem management,
- Reporting and communication on activity, quality, and performance of the network platforms and security solutions
- Ensure appropriate documentation, including procedures for support.
4. Assist new implementations of all Network and Security Infrastructure components
5. Pro-active in ensuring stability, response time, operational consistency, and life cycle over the network platforms and security solutions

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Contribute to search and qualification of new solutions.
2. Provide recommendations to the highest level of expertise teams.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

PRIMARY TECHNICAL ABILITIES:
1. At least 5+ years of experience as a Network Administrator
2. Must be CCNA certified with heavy experience in Palo Alto and Cisco Meraki
3. CCNP and Palo Alto certifications are a great advantage
4. Administration and troubleshooting of LAN/WAN/WLAN networks
- Routing protocols configuration and troubleshooting (BGP, RIP, OSPF, EIGRP ...)
- LAN technologies administration and troubleshooting (VRRP, VSS, STP...)
- QoS mechanisms
- Wi-Fi controllers and access points administration (Cisco, Meraki)
- Load Balancer (F5/NetScaler)
- Firewall (Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet)
- SD-WAN (VeloCloud)
- WAN Compression and Optimization (Riverbed)
- Cisco Meraki (Wireless, Firewalling)
- Telephony Support (Cisco, 3CX)
5. Security Administration with Palo Alto, Skybox, Checkpoint and Fortinet Firewalls, Pulse remote access, Reverse Proxy
6. DNS and Domain Management (Infoblox, IPAM)
7. Authorization and Authentication (Cisco ISE/NAC, Radius, Tacacs)
8. SolarWinds Management (Full Lifecyle)

SECONDARY TECHNICAL ABILITIES:
1. Knowledge on Infrastructure Solutions (Servers, Cloud)
2. Knowledge in ITIL framework

BEHAVIOR ABILITIES:
1. 7-10 years' experience in infrastructure, with 5-7 years as Network Administrator.
2. Strong Knowledge of Cisco network products, Security products (Palo Alto, Skybox, Checkpoint, Fortinet), Optimization and Load Balancing (F5, Riverbed) and Network Monitoring (SolarWinds).
3. Excellent troubleshooting skills and ready to engage in several engagements and consulting of internal as well as external customers.
4. Self-motivated, eager to learn in the IT profession.
5. Team player. Must be able to work with people within and outside of the IT department.
6. Nurture a culture of team excellence with openness, transparency, close collaboration, and a willingness to learn.
7. Customer service oriented.
8. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
9. English speaking is mandatory (French reading would be appreciated).
10. Ability to analyze and synthesize situations and understand the business constraints.
11. Willing to do some traveling.
12. Must be amenable to working onsite 3 days a week in Alabang
