Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in network administration, strong technical skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional network solutions. Responsibilities: Network Design and Implementation: + Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructures, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks. + Configure and troubleshoot network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. + Implement network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access control lists. + Monitor network performance and optimize network resources. Network Operations and Maintenance: + Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues. + Perform routine network maintenance tasks, such as firmware upgrades, software patches, and security updates. + Troubleshoot network problems and implement solutions to minimize downtime. + Manage network documentation and configuration changes. On-Call Support: + Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide 24/7 support for critical network issues. + Respond to network alerts and outages promptly. + Escalate issues to appropriate teams or vendors as needed. Requirements + 5+ years of experience in network administration. + Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, OSI model, etc.). + Experience with network devices (Cisco, Juniper, etc.). + Proficiency in network monitoring tools (Nagios, SolarWinds, etc.). + Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + CCNA or higher certification preferred.
