Eisenhower, GA (Ft. Gordon)) Clearance: Secret Certifications: CompTIA Security+CE Education: Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field desired. Roles and Responsibilities: + Minimum one (1) year of experience in providing the full range of network management and administration support in a multi-platform, automated office environment. + Provides daily O&M and manages network performance and maintains network security. + Maintains the system by troubleshooting a variety of hardware and software problems; evaluates, and implements network policies and procedures to ensure there is conformance with information systems and organizational objectives. + Has extensive knowledge of PC/network communications hardware and software in a multi-protocol environment and network management tools and software. + Manages network performance and maintains network security. + Ensures security procedures are implemented and enforced. + Installs network hardware and software; troubleshoots network problems; implements network policies, procedures and standards; and ensures systems are in conformance with organizational objectives. + Other responsibilities could include training local users on network operations.
