We are currently bidding on a contract providing IT and Cyber Security services for the IT Division within the NSWC Corona Division, Corporate Operations Department, supporting the Command Information Office, Information Technology Operations, Information Management Customer Services and Cyber Security. \n

This opportunity is contingent upon a successful contract award to Oneida Technical Solutions.\n

We will be seeking a Network Administrator III. \n

This role plans, designs, and evaluates new and existing computer network systems and services, including local area networks, wide area networks, intranets, and the Internet, providing analytical, technical, and administrative support. Plans, oversees, develops, and implements network policies and procedures and ensures network integrity as maintenance and modification projects to existing applications are undertaken.\n
\n

Ensures the stable operation of the organization's networks. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network hardware, software, and communication links. Analyzes and resolves end user hardware and software computer problems in a timely and accurate fashion and provides end user training where required.\n
\n\nPerform network design and capacity planning.\nConduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts.\nInstall and maintain network servers and network operating systems.\nProvide second level technical support to users concerning network system operations.\nDiagnose problems with network equipment and performs equipment repair or upgrades when appropriate.\nDevelop functional data recovery systems and techniques.\nSchedule and monitor backup of network data. Periodically restore files, applications, and the entire system on other network hardware to test backup facilities.\nInstall, configure, and maintain network cabling and other networking equipment such as hubs, switches, and UPS.\nOversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network connected end-user hardware, software, and peripheral devices.\nInstall, configure, and maintain IPS\/IDS, Firewall, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, Antimalware, etc. for maximum internal network protection.\nIn conjunction with InfoSec, establish and enforce policies, procedures, and standards regarding LAN, WAN, security, and use of the organization's computer and information assets.\n\n

Requirements:\n\nMaster's level degree in Electrical\/Electronic\/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.\n7 years professional experience in network administration.\nSecret clearance\nIndustry certification (Net+, CCNA) (CCNP, CCIE).\n\n
