Network Analyst
Description We are seeking a skilled Network Analyst to join our Global Networking team based in Houston. This role supports the operation, performance, and strategic evolution of our global enterprise and field networks. You’ll collaborate closely with IT peers, field teams, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable network services. + Participate in the design, planning, and implementation of network-related projects + Serve as an escalation point for complex network and application performance issues + Manage and maintain network monitoring and configuration tools (e.g., SolarWinds) + Support and architect industrial field networks (switches, routers, wireless bridges) + Contribute to the development of global network strategy + Leverage the IT service portal to manage incidents, changes, and outages + Research and recommend network technologies and best practices + Identify opportunities to enhance network performance using current tools + Coordinate and communicate scheduled maintenance and change activities + Collaborate effectively with global teams and stakeholders + Occasional domestic and international travel required Requirements + Proven experience in enterprise network design, deployment, and troubleshooting + Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly + Palo Alto technologies (Panorama, NextGen Firewalls, Prisma) + Cisco hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless) + Network protocols and services: OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, VPNs, DMVPN, spanning tree, IPsec/SSL + Wireshark and packet-level analysis for root cause troubleshooting + SolarWinds and other network monitoring tools + SNMP, NetFlow, IP SLA, and other management protocols + Experience with Cisco Nexus data center architecture and Cisco ISE/NAC + Familiarity with software-defined networking (SDN) + Background in Oil & Gas field network support + CCNP certification or higher Call today for Immediate Consideration!
