The person with excellent soft skills and presentation skills will get preference over someone purely technical. This person MUST be strong in the presentations/diagrams/communication. This person must have excellent client facing/soft skills will be speaking to clients, creating diagrams/presentations/etc (using visio/powerpoint) This position is extremely similar to a pre-sales engineer, but from a design/architect level This person will be creating/designing the blueprint, then passing to the actual network engineers to build this. DMZ Components: Firewalls, load balancers, cisco routers, Cisco SDWAN Must understand all External DMZ connectivity. Must understand application network flow with DMZ Must understand WAN Connectivity VPN, MPLS, Managed Network Providers (Radianz, TNS, etc.), Colo Cross-connects outstanding Should understand application flow through a private Extranet connection, with respect to Firewalls, Load-balancers, and routers. Should have 10+ years experience This is an architect level role Blueprinting and Diagrams Financial Services experience is preferred Splunk is a huge plus for this group
