Senior Network Engineer / Architect who will be responsible for the design of infrastructure Cisco based network infrastructure.
Duties include; critical evaluation and selection of the software and
hardware components of the infrastructure; report any potential issues and be able to present recommendations.
Individual will be responsible
to coordinate and work with the NetOps team and 3rd party providers to resolve any day to day and complex related issues and be responsible for any required updates to network documentation resulting from any
modifications. Best practices in this role use various techniques
including modeling, simulation, and testing to validate the designs
and selected products. Infrastructure Architects are responsible for performance, availability and scalability of the infrastructure.
Candidates should possess the following skill set:
Network Architecture – Design, Configuration and policy
management/changes based on client needs, general and complex
troubleshooting for: Cisco ASA Firewall, Checkpoint Firewall, Cisco Switching, Cisco Routers:, DMVPN on site routers, F5 BIP IP Load.
Balancers: DNS, Riverbed WAN Acceleration: DHCP, Remote Power Management (APC PDU’s, UPS’S, and Netbotz environmental sensors), Remote Accessibility, Configure, deploy, Avocent Terminal Servers and DSView centralized repository of Terminal Servers.
Architecting experience with Wireless, Websense Proxy and Cisco ScanSafe Proxy is highly desired.
CCNP Certification is required
