Opportunity Snapshot:
Compensation: $45-55.00/hour depending on experienceLocation: Plains, Texas
Work Schedule: M-F / 40 hoursAssignment Duration: 12 months +

Conduct regular tests and inspections to ensure optimal performanceMonitor communication systems to detect and resolve issues promptlyCoordinate with service providers for system updates and repairsDesign, implement, and manage network infrastructure to support midstream operationsMonitor network performance and optimize configurations for efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issuesImplement network security measures to protect data integrity and prevent unauthorized accessCollaborate with other IT teams to integrate network systems with enterprise IT infrastructureProvide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on IT systems and equipmentEnsure compliance with industry standards and company policies for IT operations. Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, configurations, and proceduresAssist in the planning and execution of IT projects and initiativesTrain field personnel on the proper use of communication systems and IT toolsDevelop and update user manuals and training materialsStay updated on the latest technology trends and advancements in the industry Qualifications Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are a plusMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT and communications within the oil and gas industry or a related field. Hands-on experience with radio and cell communication systems, network design and maintenance, and IT supportProficiency in configuring and troubleshooting radio and cell communication systemsStrong knowledge of network architecture and IT infrastructureExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong communication skills and the ability to train and support end-usersFamiliarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements
