HX5 is currently seeking a Network & Computer Systems Administrator, Journeyman to join our team at Eglin AFB, Florida. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist with system administration of network, Web, and/or communication systems, including LAN and Wide Area Network (WAN) systems, involving network securityAssist with managing hardware and software, perform configuration management and troubleshooting on IT related equipmentAssist end-users with the operation and restoration of information systemsPerform daily activities of configuration and operation of business systems which may be mainframe, mini, client/server, or cloud based and optimizes system operation and resource utilization, and performs system capacity analysis, planning, and lifecycle managementProvide assistance to users in accessing and using business systemsPrepare technical implementation plans that provide integrated solutions including actions, milestones, timelines and critical paths required for complete solutions

Education and Experience:

Must have at a minimum, AS degree, seven (7) years of professional experience, and an IAT Level III certification (ex. Sec+, CySA+)Or, Bachelors degree in related field, five (5) years of professional experience, and an IAT Level III certification (ex. Sec+, CySA+)

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.

Other Position Requirements:

Proof of U.S. Citizenship is a requirement.Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.Must have a Top Secret Security Clearance by date of hire.Must be able to travel, up to 10% including air travel.
