JSG is seeking an immediate IT Network Design & Admin Specialist III for our client in the South Bay, California.  This position has the potential to convert to a full-time employee.  

This Network Design and Administrator III will design, manage, and optimize their IT infrastructure, playing a critical role in keeping our client's systems secure, scalable, and cutting-edge. Responsibilities: Manage daily operations of LAN/WAN/SAN environments, ensuring optimal performance and uptime Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers (Windows, Linux, Hyper-V, VMware) Support enterprise-level services like Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and group policies Maintain backups, disaster recovery systems, and endpoint security (e.g., ESET) Monitor network traffic, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis Administer Exchange/Office 365, email security, card access systems, and VPNs Support telecom systems, VoIP, voicemail, and infrastructure upgrades Collaborate on special projects, server OS upgrades, and tech evaluations Document systems, configurations, support logs, and network architecture   Key Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent work experience 5+ years of enterprise network administration experience Expertise with Windows Server (2008R2, 2016, 2019), VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, and Linux (Ubuntu) Strong skills in firewall/switch/router configuration, VLANs, and VPNs Familiarity with tools and platforms like Epicor, FlexLM, MS SQL Server, SolidWorks, and Office 365 Working knowledge of Azure, Sentinel, cybersecurity fundamentals, and remote access tools Excellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills Must be willing to support on-call and occasional weekend work Network Design Experience: Experience designing scalable networks, creating topologies, and implementing performance/security-driven architectures.  Experience with Network simulations and infrastructure planning Site expansion and disaster recovery design Developing standards and network documentation Salary $50-$55/hr.
