Network Development Manager Requisition Id: Business Unit: XPOE Transport Location: Leicester, GB, LE3 1TZ As part of our continued growth and expansion, we’re looking for a talented Network Development Manager to join us on a full-time, permanent basis as part of our operations team! The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and driving continuous improvement projects across the transport network that will reduce operational cost, the creation of revenue via Back-haul activity as well as strategic analysis and forecasting for the contract. **Pay, benefits and more:** We’re looking to pay up to £55,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other benefits. **Key Reponsibilities** + To proactively promote a health & safety culture in-line with the Road 2 Zero ethos + Identify and support the roll-out of new strategic initiatives or the development of transport operation efficiencies for the customer that will deliver cost savings / operational efficiencies + To deliver gain-share benefit for XPO through the delivery of successful C.I. projects and exceeding annual back-haul targets (on-going) + Maintain accurate trackers for C.I projects and back-haul, obtaining monthly sign-off by the customer for ’net benefit’ linked to XPO gainshare + Identify and deliver IT projects and system development that will ensure the customer has the latest technology available to support transport operations (in conjunction with XPO IT and Kingspan Group IT teams). Maintain and develop, WTS, Power BI and any optimisation tool during the contract term in-line with customer feedback + Work with Kingspan Group distribution / procurement teams to provide accurate volume forecasts to allow strategic operational decisions to be made + Support the Operational and central Planning teams to ensure we exceed customer expectation + Provide support and holiday cover for the Head of Operations and Head of Planning + Work in conjunction with the wider Business Unit / Senior Management team to exceed customer expectation and XPO annual profitability targets + To undertake any other reasonable task as required + To undertake any relevant training events in line with own personal development needs and business requirements **What you need to succeed:** + **Essential:** Worked in a complex transport / logistics network environment having a good operational understanding. + **Essential:** Understands and has experience of change management practices and project management. + **Essential:** Understanding of key operational cost drivers - Volume forecasting and budgeting. + **Essential:** Experience in managing stakeholders including up to executive level + **Essential:** IT operational system use – Microsoft office tools. + **Essential:** Excellent customer facing/ presentation skills + **Essential:** Coaching & leadership skills **_We strive to create an inclusive environment for all our colleagues, where everyone feels welcomed, empowered and where you can bring your true self to work.
