Network Domain Lead - FUTURE OPPORTUNITY

What success looks like in this role:

Role Overview: This is a critical client-facing role with overarching responsibilities, directly leading the network engineering team and indirectly overseeing network operations activities. You will be an expert in network engineering, focusing on data center, campus, and edge networking/security, driving excellence in service delivery and technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Expertise:

Act as a senior network expert with a focus on data center, campus, and edge networking/security.Define and drive network engineering activities, including both BAU (Business as Usual) and project-based initiatives.Oversee the design, build, and operations of network solutions, ensuring they meet customer requirements and industry standards.Keep abreast of information technology and applied research trends and developments, incorporating them into assignments where appropriate.

Service Delivery:

Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and leadership in IT disciplines, supporting the design and delivery of innovative solutions.Interface and communicate with mid-level and senior client leadership, including technical presentations.Provide technical oversight of projects or proposals, ensuring validity and completeness.Establish and maintain productive working relationships with third-party companies and within the division.Ensure the successful delivery of solutions, developing all implementation artifacts and deliverables to the highest quality standards.

Vendor Management:

Manage vendor relationships and maintenance contracts as required.Monitor the performance of internal and external service providers to ensure adherence to project quality and timely implementation of deliverables.

Team Support:

Mentor and develop the network engineering team, ensuring continuous improvement in skills and performance.Manage the agile processes by sprints and releases, ensuring timely delivery of projects and tasks.Handle people management activities, including hiring and retaining top talent.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Key Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.Minimum of 10 years’ experience in network engineering and security.Proven people management experience with at least 10+ engineers.Hands-on experience with network design, build, and operations.Experience with providing managed services based on SLAs is preferred.Advanced knowledge in solution implementation techniques and multiple industry certifications in network engineering.
