Kforce has a client in Baltimore, MD that is seeking a Network Engineer. Responsibilities: * Assist in disaster recovery operations; Protect data, software, and hardware from attacks * Replace faulty network hardware components; Work closely with customers to identify potential issues and fix existing problems * Design, configure, and test networking software, computer hardware, and operating system software. Review network designs and configurations to ensure consistency with architecture * Implement, administer, and troubleshoot CISCO network devices including WAPs, firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers; Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and other network and system problems * Monitor and optimize network performance * Coordinate computer network access and use * Replace faulty network hardware components * Protect data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning and implementing network security measures * Confer with customers and users and solve existing system issues
