(We are#27 in 2010) Job Overview The Network Engineer will respond to incoming trouble tickets and emails regarding all network related infrastructue issues. Sets up, configures, and supports internal and/or external networks. Maintains all systems, applications, security, and network configurations. Troubleshoots network performance. Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain servers, Storage, Networks, Voice, BMS and System softwares. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls. Administer backups, disaster recovery, and data protection strategies. Monitor system performance, availability, and security.Update systems with patches and security updates as necessary. Monitor network performance and proactively identify issues.Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (LAN, WAN, VPN, WLAN). Support virtualization technologies VMware. Working on Palo Alto firewalls and maintain Firewall security policies. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, performing root cause analysis at entire site. Maintain system documentation, configurations, and procedures. Implement and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards. Collaborate with other IT staff to plan and implement IT projects. Respond to incoming trouble tickets and emails regarding all network related infrastructue issues. Sets up, configures, and supports internal and/or external networks. Maintains all systems, applications, security, and network configurations. Troubleshoots network performance, Address Cyber Security Issues. Support VoIP infrastructure including call management system, voicemail, physical telecom devices and wire management for voice and data connections Maintain a data repository and knowledge base of information related to systems and devices that are supported by both the Network and Voice Administrators Where required, some basic desktop, printer, software support Qualifications - Skills & Requirements Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies. Experience with backup technologies. Familiarity with VMWARE, Storage, SAN, Avaya IP Office, Paloalto Firewalls. Knowledge of GMP(https://www.gmpbootcamps.com/). Experience with Cisco routers, switches, and WiFi networking devices. TCP/IP protocol and troubleshooting knowledge. VMware VSphere Server virtualization Microsoft Exchange 2010. Strong problem solving skills. Excellent organizational skills. Must be detail oriented Strong in-depth knowledge of virtualization, Avaya phone system, and security system. Education & Experience Minimum of Associates Degree in Computer Science or Engineering. Industry standard certifications such as: CCNA, CCNP,CCIE. Compensation Min USD $50,000.00/Yr.
