Description We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer to join our team in Agoura Hills, California, on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing complex network systems to ensure seamless connectivity and security. Onsite in Los Angeles California Responsibilities: • Configure and manage Fortigate firewalls, including occasional installation and setup. • Administer Meraki access points and implement advanced configurations. • Design, implement, and maintain robust networking solutions and equipment. • Optimize and oversee operations within Microsoft Azure environments. • Provide expert-level administration for virtualized systems using VMware. • Implement and maintain reliable backup solutions utilizing Veeam. • Monitor and troubleshoot Windows servers and manage occasional Linux systems. • Deliver hands-on hardware support and system configurations as required. • Collaborate with team members to align IT strategies with business objectives. • Ensure network security and compliance with industry standards. Requirements • Proficiency in configuring and managing Meraki access points. • Extensive experience with Fortigate firewalls, including setup and administration. • Strong knowledge of Azure cloud environments and their management. • Advanced skills in VMware virtualization technologies. • Expertise in utilizing Veeam for backup and recovery solutions. • Solid understanding of networking protocols, concepts, and configurations. • Familiarity with both Windows and Linux server environments. • Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
