Summary: Our client is seeking a Senior Network Engineer with extensive experience in Fortinet technologies. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a hybrid role, with 3 days per week in the office, located in Richardson, TX. In this role, you will work with cutting-edge technologies and play a critical role in designing, maintaining, and optimizing their network infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: * Network Engineer will design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructure with a focus on Fortinet technologies, including FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiSwitch, and FortiAP * Configure and manage Fortinet firewalls, ensuring security and optimal performance across the network * Lead day-to-day troubleshooting of network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency * Monitor and optimize network performance to meet security and compliance standards * Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to design and implement network solutions that align with business goals * Conduct regular network security audits, assess vulnerabilities, and ensure timely application of patches and updates * As a Network Engineer, you will create and maintain detailed network documentation, including configurations, diagrams, and procedures * Provide leadership and mentorship to junior IT staff and train team members on network configurations and Fortinet best practices
