Network Engineer

This position is full-time located in Chicago, IL. The company is looking for a talented professional who excels in providing high-level network support and engineering solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Cisco, Arista, and Palo Alto technologies, and be comfortable providing level 2/3 network support. This position requires strong Network Engineering skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. The company provides a fun and collaborative environment. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree in network engineering or equivalent experience 3-5 years of experience in Network Engineering Proficiency with Cisco, Arista, and Palo Alto network devices Strong understanding of networking protocols and infrastructure Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot complex networking devices Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Desired Skills & Experience Customer-facing experience Expertise in routing protocols, particularly BGP and OSPF Experience with VPN technologies and implementations Cloud Networking experience (highly preferred) Knowledge of financial markets and related technologies Vendor specific certifications (e.g., Cisco, Arista, Palo Alto) Experience creating comprehensive network diagrams and documentation What You Will Be Doing
