Network Engineer
Job Title: Network EngineerJob Description We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with a strong background in Active Directory technologies and enterprise-level systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in creating and modifying group policies, managing remote site replication policies, and using network/system health tracking solutions. A Top Secret Clearance with eligibility for SCI and SAP is required. Responsibilities + Deploy and maintain all directory service types activities, including Active Directory domain services/controllers, certificate authorities services, policy tracking/creation, and account management functions. + Create and modify group policies for forest-level applications. + Manage Active Directory remote site replication policies and monitor health. + Utilize network/system health tracking solutions, such as SolarWinds, to monitor system health for both virtual infrastructure and hardware. + Write and maintain standard operating procedures (SOP) documentation. + Track the impact of events/actions on the underlying infrastructure, such as replication schedules and group policies. Essential Skills + 5-6 years of experience with Active Directory technologies in an enterprise-level system. + Experience with creating and modifying group policies. + Management of Active Directory remote site replication policies and health monitoring. + Proficiency in using network/system health tracking solutions like SolarWinds. + Experience in writing standard operating procedures (SOP) documentation. + Top Secret Clearance with eligibility for SCI and SAP. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Active clearance and Security+ or equivalent certification. + Proficiency in Juniper, Cisco, LAN/WAN, Active Directory, network infrastructure, STIGs, and Linux. Work Environment The work environment involves working with advanced network infrastructure and technologies. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to track and manage the impact of various events and actions on the infrastructure. The position may involve working in secure and controlled environments due to the nature of the clearance required.
