ING Luxembourg is looking for a Network Engineer  to join its IT Infrastructure department

Job Description:

You will be part of the Luxembourg Network team. Its purpose is to accelerate the IT engineering journey of all teams, by providing enablers that are easy to find, easy to use, always reliable, secure and compliant, about network support from datacenter to end user. Your key responsibilities: Support a multi-vendor network infrastructureUphold high standards for timely issue resolutionRaise and implement network-related change requestsContinuously ensure appropriate administrative and technical measures are in place to ensure information system stability and sustainabilityActively monitor existing networks and take appropriate proactive actions to maintain themDevelop and implement a comprehensive set of security controls to protect information assetsActively monitor IT network usage to ensure compliance with information security policiesMaintain the IT ticketing system and knowledge baseStay up to date with network infrastructure technology standardsEffectively collaborate with the support, technology, project teams to improve and maintain best-in-class IT servicesOversee deployment, patching, upgrading and migration of network environmentRegularly educate IT colleagues and ensure knowledge transfer

Experience/qualifications

You hold a Master’s or a Bachelor’s degree in ITYou demonstrate at least a 10-year experience in Network environments as a Senior Network EngineerYou have a specific knowledge on technologies such as Routing, Switching, Firewalling, NAC, DNS, VPN, Load balancing on equipment such as Cisco, Palo Alto, F5A knowledge of IP Telephony, Linux RedHat, as well as in IT processes such as ITIL or AGILE is an assetYou are fluent in French and in English
