Job Summary:

As a Network Engineer within Acrisure's IT department, you will be tasked with solving the most critical technology challenges facing the business. You will be called on to work collaboratively between IT silos and business functional units to design, deploy, and support Acrisure's technology portfolio. The work you will do is important and will support the tremendous growth that is cementing Acrisure as an industry leader.

Responsibilities:

Perform & execute on day-to-day IT operations, ensuring the network infrastructure's stability, reliability, and performance. Configure, deploy, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to traditional Cisco hardware, routing, switching, and security, and Cisco ISE. Configure, deploy, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Meraki, including switching, routing, wireless, and security. Configure, support, maintain, and troubleshoot Zscaler ZIA and ZPA solutions to enhance network security and user remote access. Configure and support Acrisure’s Azure networking environment including routing, VNets, cloud firewalls, NSGs, and more. Configure, support, maintain, and troubleshoot IPSEC tunnels, traffic security rules and filtering within Palo Alto firewalls. Effectively navigate firewall monitoring / logs to troubleshoot end-to-end connectivity. Assist in management of company IPAM software (Infoblox). Creation & management of IPAM, DHCP, DNS records. Support, troubleshoot, maintain, & procure circuit infrastructure for the company that aligns with building a robust, highly available and fault tolerant network. Actively utilize LogicMonitor NMS to address alerts & triage impacted network devices, systems, and services. Ensure LogicMonitor NMS accuracy and efficiency through consistent maintenance & review. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help support IT solutions and projects that align with business objectives. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, processes, and procedures aligning to business standards. Actively monitor & support the ServiceNow queue for incidents and service requests to ensure pre-defined SLAs are satisfied. Respond to Major Incidents & outages and help lead a cross-functional team toward a timely resolution.  Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure clear understanding and execution of project requirements. Participate in an on-call rotation to address network escalations during non-business hours. Act as a technical expert & strategic voice on behalf of the network operations team, ensuring technologies align with best practices. Knowledge transfer with junior engineers / TOC / NOC and helpdesk to “shift left” as much as possible. Actively seek opportunities to create efficiencies & improve network performance, processes, and workflows. Responsibly track project and task work and provide regular updates in organization’s project tracking software. 

Requirements:

Knowledge of Palo Alto firewall management, configuration, and logging. Knowledge of Azure networking. Strong troubleshooting skills, specifically focused on networking. Experience with use of network tools such as: Wireshark, PuTTy, SecureCRT, etc. Excellent documentation and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Willingness to participate in on-call rotation for network escalations. Strong ability to multitask and balance workload in a fast-paced environment. Availability to work during primary hours of 8am to 5pm EST, Monday to Friday. Strong sense of project & task ownership with a self-starter mindset. 

Education/Experience:

Minimum of 4 years of experience in an IT operations role, focusing on network engineering. Seasoned troubleshooting skills with Meraki and Cisco LAN/WAN. Experience supporting, configuring, and managing Zscaler ZIA and ZPA is required.
