The Network Engineer is responsible for the implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of network infrastructure. This individual will serve as a technical resource, assisting in efforts needed to support of a “connected” experience for our associates. As a  Networking Engineer, he/she will have a solid technical understanding of the network infrastructure in a large enterprise. The individual will assist in all troubleshooting and/or triage efforts should the network experience any type of failure or incident. This position will take direction, from both senior network engineers and leadership, to implement modernization of the network infrastructure, yielding an improved connected experience for our employees.

Position Responsibilities:Subject matter expert for network infrastructure and the connected experience for all associatesCan travel as required, up to 25%, to implements and supports all enterprise network infrastructureStays abreast of available network upgrades, reducing the potential for technical debt. Identify opportunities to improve process and operational disciplinesContributes to the design and implementation of a resilient, secure and scalable networkAssists in troubleshooting all network devices (routers, switches, wireless access points, VPN, VoIP).Works well with team members within various technology disciplinesA self-starter who can fulfill various requests, including maintenance tasks and business projects, with limited supervisionPerforms other related duties as assigned.
