Overview Specifies, installs, configures, and supports/maintains data network hardware, software and circuits. Assists in the planning and operational support for data communications. Responsibilities * Specifies, installs, configures, and supports/maintains data network hardware and software. * Works with data communications service vendors to design and implement new network services. * Plans and executes data network projects. * Specifies and troubleshoots data network circuits. * Maintains existing documentation and develops new documentation. * Recommends and implements procedures that improve the technical services network operations for Information Services application groups and user departments. * Serves as a technical resource for Information Services and user departments. * Evaluates, recommends, and implements data network hardware, software, and circuits which improve the operation of Information Services. * Performs other duties as required or assigned. Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of data network management experience, or the equivalent in education and experience required.
