Role & Responsibilities
As the IT Network Engineer, you are responsible for deploy, operates, maintain and troubleshooting the enterprise network including switching and routing components, LAN, WAN, Firewall, VPN Gateway & Telephony Services until solutioning for network infrastructure requirements per new network/system implemented. He/she will provide 2nd level support to Service Desk team and response to NOC calls.
Main Activities / Tasks:
Implementation, Integration, Troubleshooting the Network Infrastructure of the Thai ePP:
Responsible for day-to-day operations and administration of data center, campus network and security infrastructure consisting of Firewalls, Cisco-ACI/DNAC/ISE System & VPN gateway
Perform daily data center network monitoring and proactively handle events, incidents and resolve reported problems.
Installation, configuration and maintenance of network infrastructure in accordance to the security standard and change management policy
Performing preventive maintenance of network infrastructure, and patching in accordance to corporate vulnerability and patch management policy.
Support and maintain branch network infrastructure, troubleshoot and coordinate RMA service with third party vendors.
Develop and maintain comprehensive network and security infrastructure documentations.
Coordinate with vendors for third level support to ensure the performance and high availability of the network equipment.
Support systems team in various system setup related to network configuration.
Analyze, troubleshoot, conduct root cause analysis to resolve critical network and security issues
Review, maintain and enforce network security & compliance on all network Infrastructure
Maintenance & execution of IT Disaster Recovery Plan for network & security infrastructure

Bangkok, Thailand (occasionally Bang Pa-in, Ayutthaya)

Knowledge and skills
Strong experiences in supporting & troubleshooting LAN/WAN switches, routers, firewalls, VPN and access control technologies.(Cisco Nexus, Catalyst)
Experiences configuration and administration of MPLS/VPN/OSPF/BGP protocols and layer-3 technologies
Experiences in configuration and administration of Cisco ACI, NAC, ISE, Stealthwatch and Cisco Expressway
Experiences in Firewall configuration and administration (Fortigate, Palo-Alto, Cisco Firepower)
Experiences in Network Load balancer, SLB and GSLB (F5/A10)
Experiences in
Familiar with AAA, RBAC, ACL, IPSEC, TLS, configuration and support.
Knowledge in network security & information security compliance
Infrastructure monitoring (ELK, Log point, Centreon)
Possess knowledge of Active Directory Server (Microsoft AD)
Understanding of ITIL process incident management, change management and problem management.
Education, qualifications, and special training
Bachelor degree in IT or computer engineering
CCNP Routing & Switching, or CCNP Data Center certification
Vendor certifications from PaloAlto/Fortinet is a plus
Able to communicate in English
Experience
5 to 10 year technical experiences in Advanced Network Administration, installation, configuration, and supporting Enterprise Datacenter network and security infrastructure.
Work experience in established organization
Familiar with managed-IT Operation and project activities
Familiar with Security Compliance and Risk Management
