The Opportunity:
CACI’s Enterprise Network Solutions (ENS) organization offers opportunities supporting Department of Defense (DoD) with communication systems modernization projects. Our talented team of Network and Cybersecurity professionals help design, develop, procure, implement, operate/sustain, and enhance DoD networks and cybersecurity posture in support of national security.

Responsibilities:
As a program subject matter expert for networking, your focus will be leading engineering efforts such as survey, design, and implementation of solutions in support of large DoD modernization programs and promoting the advancement of network modernization frameworks, approaches, toolkits, and solutions to enhance DoD and/or IC networks and cybersecurity posture in support of national security.

Serve as technical lead on networking-related innovation projects, including implementing software defined networking architectures in a lab environment and documenting playbooks and repeatable solutions for use in multiple customer environments.Conduct research to identify new technologies that could improve solutions.Lead the development of architecture solutions and designs and participate in design reviews with the program teams or customers.Facilitate technical exchange meetings with the costumer and provide recommendations on possible solutions.Structure mock designs based upon RFP specifications in support of the Bids & Proposal teams.Prepare technical documentation describing new networking frameworks, approaches, and toolkits.Develop and perform technical presentations for customers.Serve as technical resource at customer briefings.Develop and perform technical bootcamps.Develop, design, configure and implement data networking solutions based upon the customer’s performance criteria and specifications.Manage the survey, design, and implementation of systems in support of DoD infrastructure modernizations to include networks, VoIP, ISP, Wireless, CSfC, VDI, and cross domain solutions.Lead the development of designs and participate in design reviews with the customer.Mentor junior engineers.Travel to other CACI Locations or Customer Sites as necessaryRequires CONUNS and OCONUS travel up to 50%Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:

Expert level knowledge in multiple disciplines with the ability to develop solutions in accordance with DoD standards.Experience leading technical teams in the survey, design, and implementation of approved solutions.Proficient in Microsoft software applications and other software applications as required, including Microsoft SharePointExcellent interpersonal and presentation skillsGood oral and written communications skillsExperience in using drawing tools such as Microsoft Visio or AutoCADMust be able to obtain and maintain Secret level security clearance


Required: 

Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field: IT, engineering, or technical.•+ years’ or more of experience as a Lead Engineer or leading projects of similar scopeExpert level knowledge in multiple disciplines, including Software Defined Networks (SDN) with the ability to develop solutions for large-scale IT enterprise networks.Experience in complex network topologies including data, voice, security, virtualization, video, and wireless networks.Have knowledge of and experience with the data, network and transport layers of communication or networking systems, IPV4/6, TCP and other emerging protocols.Systems integration and testing experience.Experience with data network switching and routing products from Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, etc.Demonstrated ability to organize and develop complex, technical proposals that clearly address customer requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$82,100-$172,400
