Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Network Engineer in Atlanta, Georgia. The selected candidate will be involved in a project that includes enhancing the project plans for office upgrades and relocations. You will be setting up, testing, and configuring Cisco routing equipment, along with supporting Palo Alto firewall configurations and operations. Responsibilities: • Review and enhance project plans related to office upgrades and relocations. • Take charge of setting up and configuring Cisco routing equipment, specifically Catalyst 9000 series routers. • Utilize Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) to optimize network operations. • Offer support for Palo Alto firewall configurations and operations. • Conduct rigorous AB testing to ensure optimal functioning of all network equipment. • Address any network-related issues that arise during the progression of the project. • Demonstrate proficiency in the use of backup technologies and configuration management. • Exhibit knowledge of datacenter operations and computer hardware.
