Role Summary The Network team is responsible for the overall design, implementation, operation and maintenance of the Global network infrastructure. To provide support for the wider technology group and to ensure technical requirements are delivered as per mandated by the Network and Technology group. A thorough understanding of global network operations, and security best practices aligned with financial compliance and regulations, is important to the overall success of the team and business. We are seeking an engineer with a passion for automation and scripting to enhance and streamline our operations and engineering practices. The ideal candidate will leverage one or more scripting languages, Ansible, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to automate our configurations, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Duties and Responsibilities: + Maintenance of the Marex Network. + Operational support for all network related issues. + Implementation of new network requirements/changes. + Automation of daily processes + Procuring equipment and managing of vendors. + Support network maintenance activities, internal and third parties. + Reporting network status to key stakeholders. + Ability to work flexible hours and to work on a weekend when required. Vendors: • Palo Alto, Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Aruba (wifi/Clearpass), Netbrain - Hardware: • PA220,440,3200 series firewalls, Panorama. • Cisco 9200/9300/4500. • Cisco Nexus 9k. • Juniper MX • Arista 7k series. • Aruba Access points and Clearpass NAC. - Troubleshooting: • IP network packet troubleshooting and analysis. • LAN network device troubleshooting. • WAN network device troubleshooting. • Firewall security troubleshooting. - Design and Architecture: • WAN/Campus LAN network design and implementation. • Firewall DMZ design and implementation. - Understanding of different exchange connectivity (e.g. CME, SGX, ICE, Eurex, LME).
