We are looking for a proactive and skilled Network Engineer to join our team. This role is centered around managing and optimizing our network infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations while also contributing to network security improvements. You will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and implementing network enhancements to maintain stability and performance. The ideal candidate is technically adept, detail-oriented, and eager to explore new technologies.
Your future duties and responsibilities:• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Diagnose and resolve network-related issues, minimizing downtime and service disruptions.
• Configure and manage networking hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Implement and support security measures such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems.
• Carry out network modifications, including VLAN configurations, DNS updates, and firewall rule changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless network integration with IT projects.
• Assist with network automation efforts using tools like Ansible and scripting languages.
• Maintain thorough documentation of network configurations, troubleshooting steps, and best practices.
• Stay informed on emerging network technologies and security protocols.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide critical incident support.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Solid understanding of routing and switching protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP).
• Experience with network security technologies (e.g., Checkpoint firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, Bluecoat proxies).
• Hands-on experience with Cisco and Dell networking equipment.
• Familiarity with SD-WAN technologies.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Proficiency in English (B2 level or higher).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong networking expertise, even without formal certifications.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus but not required.
• Experience with automation tools like Ansible and scripting languages such as Python.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMware NSX.
• Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure).
• Experience with DNS, DHCP, and load balancing (e.g., F5).
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
