Responsibilities Make an impact Manage the global network security infrastructure. (WAN, LAN, WLAN, VPN, Firewall, Proxy, Load balancing and other networking components), monitor and maintain the global network security infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability, plan and execute upgrades and updates to keep systems up to date and secure, implement network security measures to protect data and systems, automate recurring tasks in the area of the Network Security team, maintain documentation of the network security infrastructure, process incoming service requests and incidents as part of the daily operation, stay updated with the latest network security technologies and best practices.

  Application Requirements What you need to succeed At least 2 years of professional experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role, relevant Network certifications or equivalent experience (e.g., Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), good knowledge of network, communication, and security protocols, technologies, and standards. (Including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and VPNs.), experience with corporate network environments, routing & switching (Cisco/Cloud), wireless (Cisco), security (Zscaler/Checkpoint/Fortinet), monitoring (CheckMK), documentation (Netbox/AzureDevOps), knowledge of scripting and automation is a clear plus (e.g., Python, Ansible), understanding of cloud networking is a clear plus (e.g., AWS, Azure), good written and verbal communication in English, German is a plus, ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong communication, analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
