About the Role:
At Zoominfo, we value innovation, teamwork, and accountability. As a Network Engineer II, you’ll play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing advanced network solutions, ensuring seamless connectivity and robust security across our hybrid network infrastructure. We’re looking for a Rockstar—a Doer who thrives on challenges and delivers results! You’ll work hands-on with cutting-edge technologies like Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto Firewalls, and Zscaler, while also supporting critical maintenance and on-call activities.

What you'll do:

Network Design & Implementation (30%):

Design, configure, and deploy LAN, WAN, and WLAN networks to meet business objectives. Implement and manage network security solutions with a focus on Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto Firewalls, and Zscaler. Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, topologies, and processes.

Network Monitoring & Troubleshooting (30%):

Proactively monitor network performance and ensure high availability using advanced tools. Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex network issues efficiently. Perform capacity planning to ensure the network scales with business growth.

Security & Compliance (20%):

Manage SSL certificates and ensure secure network communications. Collaborate with the security team to mitigate network vulnerabilities. Maintain compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Project Collaboration & Innovation (15%):

Participate in network-related projects, including upgrades, expansions, and migrations. Support VoIP implementations and AWS/GCP network integrations when required. Evaluate and recommend new networking technologies and tools.

On-Call & Maintenance (5%) :

Participate in on-call rotations and off-hours maintenance every 3 months to ensure network reliability and uptime. Perform scheduled maintenance activities during off-hours to minimize business impact.

What you'll bring:

Must-Haves:

Certification: CCNA, MCSC, JCNA, or equivalent certifications.  Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering. Technologies: Proficiency in Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto Firewalls, and Zscaler. Degree: a bachelor's degree in computer sciences engineering or equivalent. 

Nice-to-Haves:

Familiarity with SSL certificate management and implementation. Experience with VoIP technologies and troubleshooting. Exposure to AWS and GCP networking. Basic understanding of domain management.

Preferred Skills:

Strong knowledge of networking concepts such as VLANs, VPNs, and routing protocols. Proficient in using network monitoring tools like Datadog, Solarwinds, and Wireshark. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Below is the US base salary for this position. Additional compensation such as Bonus, Commission, Equity and other benefits may also apply.$80,560—$110,770 USD
