The Opportunity:  We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented ITIL Network Event Management Quality Assurance Lead to ensure the highest standards of quality in our IT event management processes. The ideal candidate will develop and implement quality assurance processes aligned with ITIL best practices, focusing on the effective monitoring and management of IT events to prevent service disruptions and maintain optimal system performance.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the network event management team, providing guidance and mentorshipDevelop and maintain quality assurance standards and procedures for IT network event management, aligned with ITIL frameworkConduct regular audits of event monitoring systems, event correlation processes, and response procedures to ensure compliance with ITIL standardsAnalyze network management system event logs, metrics, and trends to identify areas for improvement in event detection, classification, and response.Train and mentor IT staff on ITIL event management practices and quality assurance procedures.Collaborate with IT operations teams to resolve event-related issues and enhance overall service quality.Create and maintain documentation for event management best practices, standard operating procedures, and quality control measures.Oversee the implementation and optimization of event management tools and systems.Prepare and present regular quality assurance reports on event management performance to senior IT management.Stay updated on ITIL best practices and innovations in event management to continuously improve quality standards

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical field, or equivalent work experience10+ years of related work experienceTS/SCI w/ poly is requiredStrong knowledge of ITIL framework and event management best practicesExtensive experience with networking event management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Riverbed, Network Node Manager)Proven track record of successfully implementing and improving event management processesExcellent leadership and team management skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$109,800 - $241,600
