Your work has the potential to shape the network hardware going into our cutting-edge data centers affecting billions of users. **Required Skills:** Network Hardware Engineer Responsibilities: 1. Lead the definition of product roadmap and programs with our internal and external partners 2. Drive new system technologies for future network hardware 3. Specify, design, and develop ASIC based network hardware solutions for use in our front-end, scale-out and scale-up networks, and ASIC enabling hardware 4. Support hyper-scale deployment and obtain learning for future designs 5. Collaborate with open source hardware community to drive innovation for large scale infrastructure **Minimum Qualifications:** Minimum Qualifications: 6. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 7. 6+ years of experience with development and bring-up of data center system equipment, or complex consumer devices. 8. 6+ years of experience with PCB design with both integrated and discrete circuits, and high-speed interfaces. 9. 6+ years of experience with hardware architectures and design for analyzing and resolving system hardware issues. **Preferred Qualifications:** Preferred Qualifications: 10. Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or relevant technical field. 11. 7+ years of experience with the industry leading designs on network switches using Ethernet protocol. 12. 7+ years of experience with end-to-end enabling, design, and deployment cycle of multiple generations of products. 13. 5+ years of experience with designing ASIC verification & bring up hardware. 14. 5+ years of experience resolving network issues including switches, optical modules and NICs. 15. 5+ years of experience with owning and delivering a complete hardware enclosure as technical lead with other cross-functional teams and suppliers. **Public Compensation:** $170,000/year to $240,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits **Industry:** Internet **Equal Opportunity:** Meta is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
