Responsibilities The Opportunity The position of a Network Operations Sr Analyst is responsible for the ongoing management of Organization’s global Network and lead network management partners to provide 24x7 support. The ideal candidate will have deep experience of networking technologies, such as routing, switching, wireless networking, and security; managing heterogeneous environment & generate metrics related to Network performance, capacity, availability, failure rates, and will also have a strong background in network performance management, service delivery and strategic operations planning with a strong technical orientation & creative in problem solving. Proven experience managing various large-scale enterprise network topologies including LAN, WAN, Wireless, Network Security and IP Services. Expert knowledge of infrastructure components (e.g., routers, load balancers, proxy, firewalls, cloud products, compute, storage, and networks) Able to identify manual operational tasks and develop automation to solve problems in a modern SRE support model Drive the collection of performance metrics that will help drive automation, reduce network down time and enhance our decision-making capability Your Impact As a Network Operations Sr Analyst your functiones would consist: This is a hands-on technical role Provide tier-3 (expert level) operational support to resolve critical business issues that require deep network troubleshooting techniques and performance analysis. Independently own the Network Infrastructure support solving complex issues and suggest design modifications as appropriate. - Ensure SLAs are met - Responsible for performance analysis, proactive troubleshooting and capacity planning for the Network platforms. - Perform monitoring and maintenance of overall environment working with experienced team members. - Perform change controls. Update process documentation and team portals. - Participate in troubleshooting, capacity planning and analysis, performance analysis & Root Cause Analysis. - Communicate with peers and managers regarding system issues & participate in 24x7 on-call. - Automate operational tasks to make processes simpler and more robust. - Ability to handle multiple complex tasks in a dynamic environment, with tight deadlines concurrently. - Manage network service providers and matrixed resources. - Refresh heat-maps and operations plans for campus networks, and all WAN, LAN, and WLAN connectivity - Monitor and analyse statistical data to develop improvement plans for network and application performance. - Provide an effective network capacity plan in partnership with Network Capacity team. - Develop and monitor global weekly and monthly trending reports by business sectors to justify future growth. Additional Responsibilities Include: Oversees the management of service level agreements (SLAs) with vendors and service providers. Oversees and directs all aspects of the 24/7/365 mission critical network/telecommunication infrastructure operations; including planning, supporting, and maintaining functions. Serves as the senior-level escalation point for network operations to resolve critical incidents. Maintains policy and procedures manual, conducts monthly service review meetings with key stakeholders, and drive vendor governance in partnership with IT supplier relationship management leads. Provides leadership, management, direction, and technical oversight for the network operations department. Qualifications Who Are We Looking For? Required Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering, or related qualification. Advanced conversational English is a must. Experience in F5 Big IP LB GTM LTM is a Must. Experiencie in DDI Infoblox DNS DHCP (Desirable). Experience in CPPM Clear pass policy manager GNAC Network addmision control (Desirable). Basic of the networking Routing / switching ,..etc. (Desirable). Certifications is a plus (CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, CCDP) Minimum 3+ years of working in a Network / Telecommunications role, with expert level experience with MPLS, SIP, IP, Wi-Fi, SD- WAN, VPN, Firewalls, etc. technologies. 3+ years of management skills with the ability to develop teams and cultivate talent. Experience of working in a multi-cultural, virtual team, across multiple geographical regions Experience with technologies such as: Cisco / Juniper HSRP/VRRP, VRF, VPC, VC, LACP, Fabric Path, CPPM, VPN, SD WAN, SWG. Extensive support of Routing Protocols/Technologies such BGP, OSPF, Logical Overlay, IOS-XR, MPLS VPN, Multicast. Strong understanding of application communication methodologies. Ability to perform TCP/IP Network traces/packet captures with solid experience interpreting results. High level of confidence and competence communicating on bridges. Solid background in vendor management to drive incident resolution. Experience with monitoring tools and strategies. Execute and analyse packet captures using NetScout, Wireshark and other related technologies. Perform or participate in complex maintenance or deployment activities. Create or modify documentation in response to new events and learnings. Routinely provide constructive feedback for improvement opportunities Ability to coordinate and direct activities across multiple teams. Excellent customer focus and engagement skills Ability to develop solutions within a complex operational environment. Excellent verbal and written communications skills Advanced knowledge of technical/business environment and problem determination strategies Develops and maintains standard operating procedure manual and processes used by the team. Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject or related professional experience. ITIL (information Technology Infrastructure library) certification. Relevant Cisco network certification Skills: Multi-cultural and x-region experience desired. Commercial and Business experience. Service and Operations Management experience. Extensive experience managing suppliers in a Technology external supplier management relationship. Excellent client facing skills (in particular, the ability to clearly articulate the value and rationale of the proposed solution). Proven negotiation skills. Ability to develop solutions within a complex operational environment. Strong team/project management/networking abilities bringing together groups from different areas of the business. Excellent remote management skills. Demonstrable skills in the "personal" management of solutions. Proven expertise managing multiple areas of IT Technology including Network Operations. Advance Knowledge of standard IT Processes. Excellent communication skills: verbal, written & presentation. Crisis & conflict management experience. Years of experience: At least 3+ years of detailed hands-on troubleshooting of complex large-scale networks Mandatory Technical Skills: Bachelor of Science or Applied Science in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or 3+ years military and/or industry experience. At least eight years of detailed hands-on troubleshooting of complex large-scale networks Extremely well-developed communication skills and a customer-centric attitude. Advanced knowledge of the following routing protocols: BGP and MPLSs. Advanced understanding of ACLs, prefix lists, firewalls and other security methods and best practices. Advanced Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, IP Provisioning and IP Management Ability to troubleshoot complex network related problems escalated from other organizations within the company. Define operational support requirements for new network related technologies and products. Ability to review and create technical changes for accuracy and recommend changes to support operational guidelines. Provide complex technical training to lower Tiered groups. Advanced knowledge of highly complex network infrastructures and multiple products residing on them. Current working ambition and or initiative towards gaining CCIE and or similar experience. Technology Expertise: Cisco SDWAN, network routing protocols and NextGen Architecture. Mandatory Non-Technical Skills: Excellent Communicator Soft Skills Ability to work in high stress environment. ITIL (information Technology Infrastructure library) certification Differentiating Competencies: Diagnose highly complex problems and design long term fixes. Propose best operational practices and processes to customers, internal teams, and senior management teams. Ensure proper follow up to highly complex fixes to include but are not limited to proposed changes in existing network design and or architectures, best practices for new project and initiatives. Must take lead for any new network platforms introduced into production environments and determine all operational validations tests and requirements. Prepare written reports and other technical documentation necessary to communicate ideas, concepts, and details necessary to accomplish specific goals. Contribute and lead the definition of operational and support requirements for new network related technologies and products. Proactively/actively monitor all network related issues using all tools available. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex hardware and software related impairments. Actively work with product engineering groups and teams to ensure proper understanding of all network initiatives. Must perform operational guidance towards other members of the team. Must have ability to mentor others within the team. Proactively design and develop technical solutions for unforeseen issues in network infrastructure. Plan and coordinate technical meetings to support company initiatives. Provide complex training for other peer groups on new and existing technologies. Provide escalation path for lowered Tiers and outside groups for all network issues. Provides advanced technical guidance and detailed support for the GIS. Network Performance - Analyses data relating to functional operations, surveillance and control, and system performance to identify trends and develop and implement procedures to maximize availability and quality.
