Title and Summary
Network Partnerships Manager - EuropeOverview•\tThe Network Partnership manager, will have direct oversight of the Europe Mastercard cross border services (MA XBS) network, comprised of banks, NBFIs and central banks. Manages the existing relationships and expanding the network capabilities in line with strategic network and product objectives.
Responsibilities:
•\tLead all MA Cross-Border Services partnerships in Europe
•\tDrive the expansion and the improvement of the MA Cross Border network in Europe in line with the network and product roadmap strategy
•\tBuild and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including financial institutions, technology partners where necessary and regulatory bodies.
•\tIdentify and evaluate potential business opportunities for remittances, partnerships, and market trends to expand Mastercard Cross-Border Services product offerings and market reach.
•\tLead negotiations and contract discussions with existing and potential partners to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
•\tStay updated with industry regulations, compliance requirements and best practices to ensure the company’s products and services meet all necessary standards.
•\tCollaborate with cross functional teams to define and refine product strategies, COGS models and partnership launch plans.
•\tCollaborate with internal teams, including treasury, finance, sales, marketing, product, and customer support to ensure seamless customer experiences and successful corridor growth.
•\tConduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market gaps, emerging trends, and potential areas of innovation.
•\tDevelop and deliver compelling presentations, proposals and business cases to prospects and internal stakeholders.
•\tMonitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance, identify areas of improvement and implement necessary strategies.
•\tProvide leadership, guidance and mentorship and share knowledge to internal stakeholders to foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
What are we looking for:
•\tProven ability to evolve in a complex matrix environment.
•\tDemonstrated ability to operate with complete independence and autonomy.
•\tCan communicate to executives, peers, and staff with impact, eloquence, and authenticity.
•\tHas experience in international (specifically remittances) payments, foreign exchange, cash management, settlement and reconciliation processes
•\tExtensive partnership experience in the payments industry.
•\tHas intimate knowledge of European payments infrastructure & industry
•\tHas experience working in remittance space.
•\tHas proven success developing and managing payment partnerships.
•\tStrong written and oral communication is a must especially in English
