Your Role:
As part of the Integrated Supply Chain Operations of the Life Science Division of MilliporeSigma, Supply Chain Planning is responsible for the execution of processes related to product availability. Our mission is to optimize our inventory to ensure we have “the right products, at the right quantity, in the right place, at the right time” to meet our Customer's demand within a global network. Develop an action plan to improve customer service levels and KPI performance.
The open position is reporting to the Head of Network Planning – Downstream and Aseptic Products and is based in Jaffrey, NH. The position is a permanent hire aimed to reinforce the existing Supply Chain Planning team and support additional activities.
Communication with the Distribution Centers, Production, Customer Service, and Sales throughout the company to improve serviceResponsible for the requirements planning and stocking in the Distribution CentersRelease of the daily orders for intercompany suppliersCoordination of the supply chain between supplying and global receiving sitesMonitoring and action to address backordersIdentify and follow up customer-specific requirements, making use of the whole logistics network to serve the customerLead process improvement activities to improve customer service levelsPerform other duties as assigned
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline5+ years of Supply Chain experience3+ years experience working in a supply chain function with an ERP system, such as Oracle and/or SAP.
Preferred Qualifications:
APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification Strong written and verbal communication skillsExperience in MS Excel and PowerPointStrong background in Supply Chain PlanningManage multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyExcellent analytical skills and results-orientedEffectively influence in an extremely matrixed organizationCustomer-focused, proponent of change, excellent teamwork skills
