Within Azure Hardware Systems & Infrastructure, the Spares Supply Chain is responsible for ensuring that the right spare parts, are in the right place, at the right time in support of delivering global capacity requirements.  Spares is transforming the cloud service parts supply chain to enable increased customer focus, quality, and efficiency.  This position is vital for supporting existing operational processes and future system changes as part of the journey to a world-class supply-chain and maintenance repairs and operations organization.  This is a high touch, hands on operations role supporting the regional datacenters that will be responsible for leveraging existing and future tools to implement operational work streams, drive and develop success metrics, and working together with cross-functional Microsoft Cloud operations, engineering teams, and external suppliers to jointly deliver initiatives needed to support desired end-state Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. **Preferred Qualifications** + Master’s degree in Ops/Industrial /Manufacturing Engineering or Business + Executive presence with good verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills in data analytics to include Excel, Power BI, etc. + Proven ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, ambiguous environment + Prior experience in Spares and / or Fulfillment processes, preferably in the high-tech industry Fulfillment & Logistics IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 - $183,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $122,000 - $200,500 per year.
