Job Description
• Bachelor or college degree in related field or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 5 years technical support or service desk service desk type environment experience
• Minimum of 5 years Network architecture experience
• Minimum of 5 years Network security experience
• Minimum of 5 years Network administration experience
• Minimum of 5 years Network design
• Minimum of 5 years Network configuration and management experience
• Minimum of 5 years of Network devices installation, configuration and setup experience
Education:
• Bachelor or college degree in related field or equivalent work experience
Work Experience:
• Level C should have 5 years of experience in similar jobs
• Level D should have 4 years of experience in similar jobs
• Level E should have 3 years of experience in similar jobs
Work Requirements:
• Willingness to travel as required
• Willingness to be on call support and work occasional overtime as required
• Ability to perform in a virtual team
The main responsibilities are to control and monitor local and global networks to maintain established level of services and network security policies. The main tasks
consist in the management and control of the traffic of all networks, management of any firewall, intrusion detection and prevention systems, correcting performance of
network devices, and supporting issues related with the network.
Key Responsibilities:
• Know, understand and follow network management procedures and global security network policies
• Management and control of network communication lines, firewalls and devices.
• Configuration and deployment of network devices.
• Coordinates the installation and set up by providers of new communication lines/circuits.
• Identification, prioritization, resolution/fulfillment of network incidents
• Ensure fulfillment of security policies and security requirements
• Ensure the proper monitoring and maintenance of the data center facility components including environment control, fire suppression, generator power, physical security, power distribution, UPS, water detection, etc
• Control and monitor other Data Center capabilities such as backup execution/monitoring, monthly audits, systems and application monitoring/support and identify and implement any new capabilities as needed
• Define, coordinate, manage, schedule and implement the internal Security Audit process
• Ensure that excellent customer service is being provided to project teams on a consistent basis
• Identify, implement, and maintain the appropriate measurements and reporting necessary for facilities maintenance, support desk delivery and utilization
• Work closely with the Network Services Team to ensure the logical security and issue escalation/resolution as necessary
• Work closely with the Infrastructure and shared services group to ensure the physical security and issue escalation/resolution as necessary
• Identify and implement continuous security initiatives and improvements
• Determine boundary and relationship between technical architecture and the service processes in order to fulfill the security requirements
• Specify and implement the technical tools due to control the security policies application
• Demonstrate deep expertise in technical and security process design.
