Work as part of a global, multi-locational cross-matrix team in a dynamic environment. Be a key part of the team driving forward and maintaining the technical estate. Take on an operational role, with involvement in change and project work as required. Collaborate closely with other teams, including Service Desk, Platforms, Information Security, and User Services. Proactively own incidents, problems, or issues, adhering to SLAs and OLAs where relevant. Act as a technical resource for change requests and project works. Provide technical expertise for maintenance, firmware upgrades, and recurring patch cycles. Use documented Standard Operating Procedures and other relevant documentation. Work with ServiceNow to update incidents and requests. Stay aware of the technology roadmap for both existing and new technologies. Shift work, weekend work, and on-call responsibilities will be required. Minimum CCNA qualification; ideally holding or working towards CCNP. Working knowledge of: Branch & Data Centre Switching & Routing. Wireless technologies, setup, troubleshooting, and security. Enterprise Firewalls, especially Palo Alto. Internet routing and security. Cloud technologies (big plus). Common interior and exterior routing protocols. Site-to-Site and Remote Access VPN technologies. Proxy technologies (e.g., Bluecoat or McAfee). Load Balancers. IP Address management and network services (DNS, DHCP, NTP). Network management, monitoring, and diagnostic tools. Network probes and packet capture analysis.
