Daily challenges
Dealing with latest security threats and vulnerabilities. Prevent Incidents or resolve them when they occur
Deep-level troubleshooting in conjunction with vendor and third-party support within the applicable technology platform that is responsible for
Maintaining and supporting variety of security technologies from one of the leading global brands
Preparing/Implementing changes within the applicable technology platform that is responsible for
Producing and leading project plans related to the platform/technology that is responsible for
Participating in on-call duty shift schedule
eXperience and skills required
Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or related disciplines. Alternatively, an equivalent level of experience.
At least 4 years of IT experience, ideally in support of Network Security environments
Strong technical knowledge of Firewall technologies (Checkpoint, Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, Palo Alto)
Experience with IPS/IDS technology, Proxy (Bluecoat or other proxy vendor), Load Balancers and ASM modules (F5 or other similar vendors).
Experience with Dell and Cisco Switch technologies
Understanding of Zone Base Firewall concept
Knowledge about security threats
Good understanding and adherence to the ITIL framework (Change Management, etc.)
Autonomy and good problem-solving skills
Fluent in English language
What we will consider as an advantage:
Experience with NGFW, Cloud Based Firewalls (Azure, AWS), SD-WAN technology or Zscaler will be considered as a plus.
Experience with Open Switch technologies (SONIC OS)
Verbal and written German Language
